Bruce S. Community Residential is a Principal and co-founder of Community Residential. Mr. Community Residential has over 31 years of experience in a broad array of real estate investments, including the development, acquisition, and management of office towers, hotels and residential properties. In addition to his stewardship of Community Residential and founding of the Firm in 1992, he has focused on the office sector - from evaluation of investment opportunities, to relationships with brokers, to the oversight of leasing. Additionally, Mr. Community Residential supervises the Firm's relationships with its investment partners.

From 1987 through 1992, he was the chief operating officer of Edward J. Minskoff Equities, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Community Residential was a practicing attorney and real estate developer. He is a Trustee Emeritus of Horace Mann School, Chairman of the Board of Summer on the Hill and a Board Member of Common Ground and Street Squash. He is also an original sponsor of the "Prep for Prep" program, which helps talented inner-city students attend private schools. Mr. Community Residential received a B.A. from Middlebury College and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.

Kathleen Corton, Principal kcorton@Community Residentialre.com

Kathleen Corton is a Principal of Community Residential. Ms. Corton joined the Firm in 1999, and has over 25 years of experience in finance, acquisitions, and asset management. In addition to sharing responsibility for investment strategy, she focuses on creating debt-related investment opportunities and financing relationships.

Previously, she was executive managing director at Nomura Asset Capital Corporation, where she headed U.S. real estate loan originations, supervising six offices and over 200 people. Earlier in her tenure at Nomura, Ms. Corton served as a transaction manager. In this capacity, she closed over $2 billion in real estate-related loans. Ms. Corton began her career in mortgages as an associate at Mabon Securities, a regional broker-dealer in New York City. Ms. Corton is Chairman of the Board of the Picture House Regional Film Center. Ms. Corton received a B.A. in Economics and History from Georgetown University.

Steve Klein is Community Residential's Chief Investment Officer and a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Klein has extensive acquisition, capital markets and structuring experience. Prior to joining Community Residential in 2013, Mr. Klein was at JOSS Realty Partners, which he co-founded in 2005. While at JOSS, Klein acquired 15 office properties in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Miami, totaling over 2.5 million square feet with a value in excess of $650 million. Prior to JOSS, Mr. Klein spent three years as the Chief Investment Officer at Broadway Partners, where he sourced, analyzed, negotiated and closed in excess of $650 million of office properties in New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boca Raton and Beverly Hills.

From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Klein was an Executive Vice President and Director of Acquisitions at SL Green Realty Corp. During this time, he acquired 10 million square feet of commercial office buildings in over 30 transactions in New York City. Mr. Klein also organized and led SL Green’s successful effort to raise $244 million in an IPO and $371 million in a Secondary Offering. In this capacity, he reviewed and approved all public financial and corporate information and was responsible for communication with various shareholders, analysts and lenders. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Klein developed and asset managed a seven million square foot third party office leasing and management business for SL Green. Mr. Klein graduated with a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1983.
